This post is in partnership with Erin
Mills Town Centre.
As a woman, a mother, a consumer, and a businesswoman, my time is what
I would consider to be very limited and having time to spend roaming around a shopping mall is somewhat of a luxury to me.
When I was offered the opportunity by the folks at Erin Mills Town Centre to spend an afternoon shopping with them, I jumped
at the chance. I mean, what girl doesn't like browsing storefronts for shoes, dresses, and home décor?
I have always thought that what makes a shopping centre a
desirable destination is the big box (anchor) stores it possesses. From the all-Canadian Hudson's Bay store, to Sears and
of course Walmart, you have a great selection to choose from, a little something for every budget. Family friendly stores
like Old Navy, H&M (opening soon) and Urban Planet along with other staples like Shoppers Drug Mart, the all-new Erin
Mills Town Centre has got you covered. The mall has recently gone through an extensive renovation and revitalization to help
serve their patrons better, now and into the future. There are in fact several new additions, such as, Carter's Osh Kosh,
Kids Foot Locker, and my daughters favourite, Pandora.
For those of you, who for years have called the Erin Mills Town Centre
your go-to shopping centre, you may just find it a little busier from now on. The mall has everything I was looking for,
and it was a very relaxing atmosphere in which to spend some time looking for things I have been thinking about for some time.
My favourite purchase of the day came in the form of a salt rock lamp. I have seen them often and thought of buying one,
but couldn't make the snap decision as the ones I have seen weren't pretty enough. At first sight, I was sold on my new salt
rock lamp. It is this gorgeous orangey-peachy colour with light white striations running through it. I love it so much.
Erin Mills Town Centre is banking on the fact that they have addressed
a need for the immediate area with the renovations and that they provide the premium shopping experience that their clientele
desire. I think they have hit the nail, right on the head.
With
ample parking, great access to transit and highways, the Erin Mills Town Centre is just around the corner for most shoppers.
My last stop was at WalMart, I needed a few groceries and was pleasantly
surprised to find I could purchase
them within Erin Mills Town Centre.
The produce selection
was amazing, I loaded up on a ton of fruit and veggies, also buying some colourful flowers for myself. Win, win situation
-- as I did not have to make another trip to pick up a few essentials.
They were gracious enough to offer WonderMoms a $100.00 gift card to give
away in a contest. The winner will be chosen at random, so enter often and good luck.
