This girl has had a very memorable summer, the highlights of which included a couple of weeks in Muskoka at the cottage with family and friends, as well as some amazing concerts at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre as part of the Country Megaticket offering, courtesy of American Express Canada.

There is nothing more exciting than sitting in the audience on a warm summer's evening with your "bestie," and some beverages to boot. Our first concert this year was the very talented Tim McGraw. His ability to engage the crowd with his lyrics and southern twang made for a very memorable evening. As he is considered country royalty and should be treated accordingly, it is only fitting that I too, get treated that way as well. Having said that, Amex Canada treats their Cardmembers just that way.

American Express Cardmembers can experience outstanding benefits. Such things as Front Of The Line tickets for many types of events make getting your tickets and good seats a snap. The Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto has Amex Cardmember benefits too. Inside the Amp you can find the Amex Lounge, a very trendy laid back environment complete with big comfy seating, flowy billowing curtains to keep out the late-day sun and a private bar for those pre-concert meals and beverages. Another show we experienced was Rascal Flatts, a very high-energy country band complete with spectacular lighting, fiddle playing mastery and the distinct sounds of a very talented banjo player. Listening to lead singer Gary LeVox is easy. I have been a fan since 2006 when they did an awesome remake of Tom Cochrane's Life Is A Highway for the movie Cars. Sitting in Amex Canada's box seats complete with beverage service made for an even more relaxing time. Retiring to the Amex Lounge for a little post-concert entertainment allowed the crowds to filter out.
