Each year I view the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition)
with two distinct set of feelings; one of excitement that the annual fair is in town bringing with it the rides, the food,
the carnival and the tradition and secondly, the realization that the summers end is upon us.The fact that the summer is drawing to a close is good on two fronts, as I
will get my kids back into their routines with soccer and dance, as well as dreading the change in the weather and what it
means to live in Canada.
The CNE is by far
one of the most enjoyable day trips we look forward too. My girls are excited about spending the day with mom and dad, my
in-laws, and an added treat this year, their aunt and uncle visiting from overseas.
Our friends at the CNE have invited us along with Kinder Canada on Saturday August 30th,
in an attempt to set a world record for the most people opening candy at the same time. I mean, what kid wouldn't be up for
that?
If you are intent on spending the day
in and around the exhibition join WonderMoms and the rest of the participants in an attempt at making history with Kinder
Canada. It is sure to be a lot of fun. Meet at the Bandshell Park at 10:30 am sharp.
I look forward to seeing history being made and spending the rest of the day with my
family enjoying the festivities the CNE has to offer.
Kinder
Canada will sweeten the proverbial pot by including an interactive photo and video KINDER® Smile Booth and a play area
to help capture all the family fun. The Smile Booth will remain open until Monday September 1st.
