Who Doesn't Love a Clean House with Lysol

To say we may me a little perplexed by the wonderful winter weather we endured would be an understatement. I mean, come on this is Canada, we are supposed to get snow. I cannot ever remember having such a great winter. If I were still in my downhill skiing days, I would probably be somewhat upset with the lack of the white stuff. But to be honest, spring and summer are my two favourite seasons.

I think it may have something to do with not having to bundle up the children in their snowsuits, gloves, hats and boots. An extra 10-minute morning ritual, that frankly I can do without.

And now, onto spring...

An earlier than normal change of the seasons has afforded us the opportunity to get the backyard shipshape and to put away the winter gear and toys. No more toboggans and sleds, no more snowmen and no more shoveling of the driveway.

As I was completing the winter laundry and getting everything ready to store for the summer, I realized that some of my new Lysol products have multiple uses. I was not aware that Lysol's Fabric Mist would work with keeping the snowsuits and things smelling fresh throughout the summer months in storage. They are designed to eliminate odours and kill any bacteria that may be present. You become very aware of the smells lingering within the home when you open the windows for the first time in the spring. I have been using the Lysol Fabric Mist for quite some time on my husbands sports gear and also weekly on the dog beds. Someone suggested trying it inside the kids boots and gloves before putting them away. I gave it a shot and was amazed when I went back this week, everything smelled awesome. This will become a staple item in my home as it has multiple uses, regardless of the season.

You can also use Lysol Fabric Mist to help eliminate odours caused by cooking, sweat, and cleaning/personal care products. It kills 99.9% of bacteria on fabrics, therefore eliminating the root cause of odours caused by the bacteria.

I even found my husband using the Lysol Fabric Mist on the seat cushions for the patio chairs. Storing them in the garage all winter has left them a little musty. To say that they now smell better is a given. If I can only get him to spray his gym bag. That is another project in itself...

I have just put our some bedding out in our room and decided to spray the Lysol Fabric Mist on the comforter. The attached video is of one of our dogs after his bath. He knows he is not allowed up on our bed. Coincidence, maybe, but I think it has to do with the wonderful smell on the bedding. I could not help but laugh before I scolded him.
