American Express helped us live out the ‘first concert experience' for my two middle daughters and one of their girlfriends. Skipping the line with the Amex Cardmember dedicated entrance gave us more time to enjoy inside the Molson Canadian Ampitheatre grounds.I was not sure what to expect, nor was I ready for the 5 Seconds of Summer fandemonium.

Seeing the crazed teenage fans was actually somewhat of an eye opener for me. I had heard of this type of emotional attachment to a band before, but had never been witness to it. Watching their smiles and listening to their screams was captivating.

My favourite part of the evening was definitely taking them to the Amex Lounge. They feasted on cotton candy, gummie bears and soda. Ordinarily, I am more of a health conscious mom when it comes to the nutritional intake of my kids, but they were having such a good time and were behaving amazingly well, I decided to throw caution to the wind and let them have a great time.

Quoting my 11 year old, that concert was "epic." I have to say thank you again to American Express for being such gracious hosts and letting me fulfill my girls' wildest dreams. It will no doubt go down as one of the greatest highlights of their summer vacation.
