For soccer enthusiasts across this great country of ours we embark
on an exciting journey this summer to decide on who reigns supreme in the world of Women's soccer. Canada is about to host
the FIFA Women's World Cup, a first in Canadian sport. And with
that goes all the added excitement and hoopla that you'd expect with being the host nation of an event such as this. The
best of the best in women's soccer will be here to try and knock us off the podium. Our girls are going to do their very
best to make us proud.
Coca-Cola Canada is hosting another
exciting event leading up to this summers tournament, the FIFA Women's World Cup Trophy Tour.
WonderMoms was invited to partake in the Toronto leg of the Trophy Tour this past Thursday.
Taking along my soccer star 12 year old and some of her friends was very exciting for them. Being introduced to Adriana
Leon and Carmelina Moscato, current team members was a very "big deal" for our girls. It gives them some added
incentive to work hard and play hard. Proof that dreams can come true.
The Coca-Cola Trophy Tour includes interactives like the Ultimate Keeper experience; see if you have what it takes
to be between the pipes. Getting your photo taken with the "real" FIFA Women's World Cup Trophy lets you feel as
if you are part of the celebration. Just imagine, if our ladies are successful in their ultimate endeavour, you can brag
about actually having your picture taken with the cup.
The
next leg of the tour takes place on Sunday May 3rd at Canada's Wonderland from 11am-7pm. For those already at the park, you
can partake in the event. Visit www.coca-cola.ca/trophytour to see which Canadian cities are playing host to the tour and how
you can get your free tickets to take part in this exciting event.
