They settled in Bronte because of the villages close knit clientele and family oriented values. Business is booming, as they say. It was the dream of it's founder, Yury, a Colombian native from Medellin whose desire to bring attention to more vulnerable communities and what they have to offer the world. We all know that some of the most flavourful coffee beans available are in fact from Colombia. Her passion and dedication to making a difference is evident in everything she sells.

Her little piece of sunshine lets patrons, "smell the coffee, hear the music, see the vibrant colours and feel the sense of what makes Colombia so inviting."

Take a break, for lunch and sample some the Colombian fair they have to offer with such things as Tamales, a traditional version of pork and veggies wrapped in plantain leaf to maintain the flavour or the grilled cheese panini, made with 12 grain bread and butter, mustard and their very own Spanish "Queso de Hoja." It can be ready in just a few minutes. Why not try a Quinoa smoothie made with organic in season fruits. Whatever your taste, a Taste of Colombia has something for everyone.

For those of you who enjoy a little South American flair, take part in their "Salsa Nights." Every Saturday from 6 to 9, they will help transport you to a Colombian dance floor with demonstration of salsa dancing. Learn to salsa from very competent instructors. Want to learn Spanish, they can help with that too. They can offer lessons in private and semi-private settings as well as smaller groups of up to 5 people. Very informal meet-ups, designed to promote the Spanish language.
