Casino Rama Fun - Experience the Fun
This past weekend I was invited to Casino Rama, in Orillia Ontario. There were seven other Social Media Thought Leaders involved in this amazing getaway. The main objective
was to have fun and relax, and experience the sights and sounds of Casino Rama. Since 1996, the Casino has been providing the perfect entertainment experience. In 2002, they built
the Rama Hotel and now the grounds consist of amazing restaurants, a sensuous Spa (the perfect relaxing retreat), big name
concerts and the wonderful gambling Casino. This entertainment district provides a relaxing place to get away for couples,
families or for business conferences.
We
were transported to Casino Rama in a super stretch Hummer. The fun began as soon as we were on the highway. I can't ever remember laughing so much
on a road trip. I feel very blessed to have been able to spend the weekend with these wonderful people. I admire each and
every one of you!
My room was simply amazing, furnished with a beautiful
gas fireplace to go along with a bottle of wine that was waiting in my sitting room, located beside the super spacious bedroom
and large ensuite bathroom. I was so relaxed in my room, and did not want to come back home.Casino Rama Hotel
Later that afternoon we were introduced to Jenna from
Media Relations and Jeff, the VP of Marketing. They were two very genuine people, who clearly love their jobs and are very
knowledgeable about the Casino. I was impressed with the information I received about the gambling practices at Casino Rama.
Social responsibility is number one on their list of priorities. Bar service of two alcoholic drinks in an hour per person
is considered standard practice. The OLG encourages responsible gambling and providing assistance on site for patrons. Jenna and Jeff escorted us on a VIP tour of the Casino and Entertainment Centre. We toured the Green Rooms and Dressing Rooms backstage. The same hallowed hallways used by the likes of Alicia Keys, and
Sheryl Crow. Later that evening Roger Hodgson was performing and we were lucky enough to be invited to his concert.
Dinner was first on the agenda... reservations were made at St. Germain's, a fabulous fine dining steakhouse. The food and service was simply divine!!
The highlight of the day was seeing Roger Hodgson perform with an orchestra of about
60 plus people on stage. Listening to rock music being performed with an orchestra is unlike any other concert I've been to.
He captivated the audience during the entire performance.
The next morning I was treated to an Ultimate Pedicure
at Balance in Life Spa. No kids, no cell phone, no stress - just an hour of relaxation and fabulous feeling feet after!! I
love to have that "me" time, don't you?
