With Halloween now in the rearview we embark on the long tedious journey towards Christmas. It is without a doubt my most favourite time of year, but it is also the busiest in a household full of girls.

Having to clean up the backyard and store all of the outdoor toys for the winter is not my idea of fun. It must however be done. And with that, the kids and the pets spend a lot more time indoors, which only makes things more difficult to keep clean. I don't like having to wash off the dog's feet every time they enter the house, but it has to be done or my kitchen floor would be a disaster area. It is made somewhat more bearable with my Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes that I keep just inside the door. That way I don't have to wash the entire floor every time the dogs go outside to do their business. Add to that a dark coloured towel for the paws and we are good-to-go. I can use the Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes for so many other applications too, be it cleaning up counter top spills or washing out the kitchen sink. I have even been known to use them when sanitizing the toilets. Lord knows, the kids won't do it.

As a mom, it is my job to make sure that I keep my kids healthy and happy. You can't be there 100% of the time, so it is imperative to teach the kids about good hygiene and cleanliness. Having a discussion about proper hand washing techniques is of utmost importance in hopes of reducing the likelihood of germs being transferred from one thing to another, or from person to person.

The kids are a lot more susceptible to colds and flus at this time of year, so it also makes sense to have my go-to product in each of the bathrooms, the Lysol® No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser. I have been using it for what seems like forever. The kids enjoy how easy it is to use and like the fact that it works without even touching the bottle. The little ones think it is magic. If they wash their hands more often because of it, then I have one less thing to worry about.
