First impressions last a lifetime, we share and tell
the world. Kindfood made a fabulous first impression with me yesterday. I walked down the street and found this wonderful,
bright and cheerful café. Their tag line is Healthy, Fresh, Sustainable. Kindfood serves vegan fare, they are apart of a "food revolution". Our society is making
a switch to healthier living and worried about our carbon footprint. Kindfood is helping people make that change with their
         passion and knowledge.
Gene Baur of the Farm
Sanctuary was a special guest during our breakfast at the café, as I sat and listened to Gene talk about his lifetime
journey I was actually moved to tears. He is very passionate about healthy living and saving our animals. I believe he became
         a Vegan in 1985.
"Gene Baur is co founder and president of Farm Sanctuary, America's leading farm animal protection
organization. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge and a Master's Degree
in agricultural economics from Cornell University. He has conducted hundreds of visits to farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses
         to document conditions"

Breakfast was served before Gene talked, I had the
pleasure of sitting across from him and of course I had many questions and learned a new lifestyle. I am sure I will not become
a full fledge Vegan, and Kelly the owner of Kindfood encourages people just to try the Vegan diet a couple times a week, rather
than not at all.Having children I am very cautious
with their diets, we are always trying to limit their sugar and fat intake. Too many marketing companies are flashing toys
and incentives to eat take out that has been known to have to large amounts of preservatives. Last week I began a new journey
in my life, and taking a very healthy approach to living, eating and thinking. Visiting Kindfood seemed to validate my new
transition. I did bring home Vegan cupcakes for my children and three out the four girls loved them and could not tell the
         difference.
