Lysol Germ Detectives

Over the past few weeks, we have had to deal with getting the outside yard ready for winter. Prepping the barbecue and the patio table for the bitterness we are about to endure while making sure that everything is cleaned properly before storing them. The kids toys, shovels, pails and bikes are important pieces of the puzzle when it comes to summer enjoyment. And with that, it is of utmost importance to maintain them for years to come. We have for months been using the Lysol® No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser for routine clean ups around the kitchen. I can't get over just how much dirt and grime there was on the kid's toys. After all was cleaned and put away, my hands were filthy. I was looking forward to getting them cleaned. To say that as a mother, I am a little bit anal when it comes to cleanliness, would be an understatement.

Keeping my girls clean and free of the germs that roam around our homes on a daily basis is a never ending battle. The folks at Lysol® have many wonderful cleaning products that can target specific contaminants throughout your home, but my "go-to" favourite is the No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser. The girls love how simple and easy it is to use. We have become reliant on them throughout the house, including the kitchen, mudroom, and all of the bathrooms.

Lysol® has for years been a company that cares about families. They participate often in in-school programs designed around creating awareness to new and unknown germs and diseases. With cold and flu season on the horizon, it is extremely important to heed the advice of companies such as Lysol® as they test and research their products effectiveness on todays germs. They cannot stress enough about the importance of good hand washing techniques. Using the No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser will clean your hands and prevent cross contamination to others.

Lysol® has launched a new in-school program called the "Germ Detectives Program," targeting their expertise towards our smallest students, JK to grade 2. The intent of this initiative is to teach our little ones about surface cleanliness and hand hygiene. In my opinion, the lessons would be invaluable to everyone.

I look forward to the Holiday Season and the closeness it brings to the whole family. I will surely be stocking up on my favourite Lysol® cleaners.

Disclosure: I am part of the Lysol® Healthy Families Ambassador Program with Mom Central. I have received compensation for participating. The opinions are however, my own.
